For nearly two decades, the Rio Grande Zoo has entertained visitors during the summer months with the Zoo Music Concert Series. Showcasing a wide variety of folk, roots and ethnic music, Zoo Music is co-sponsored by KOB-TV 4, 100.3 the Peak, Big-I 107.9 and the Rio Grande Inn.
Concert dates: Fridays, June 5 through July 17
(No concert Friday, July 3th)
Gates open: 6:00 pm

Animal exhibits open: until 8:00 pm
Ticket prices: $8 for adults; $4 for seniors; $2 for children. New Mexico BioPark Society member prices are half-off regular prices ($4 for adults; $2 for seniors 65 and older; $1 for children (children 2 and younger admitted free).
Purchase tickets: During the day Zoo Music tickets may be purchased from any BioPark cashier (at the Zoo or at the Aquarium/Botanic Garden) from 9am until one-half hour before closing. On the night of the concert, tickets may be purchased after the gates open at 6:00pm until 8:30pm. No telephone orders.
Seating: General lawn seating. Bring your own blankets and lawn chairs.
Capacity: About 4,500.
Food: Purchase from vendors or bring in your own picnic.
Beer and Wine: Available to purchase on-site. You may not bring in your own.
