Gates open at 3 p.m. Saturday, July 4, at Balloon Fiesta Park.
Firework Safety
Please observe the Albuquerque Fire Department's firework safety tips for an enjoyable Independence Day.
Report Illegal Fireworks
You can report illegal fireworks by calling the AFD Illegal Firework Hotline at 505-833-7325 between 7 p.m. on July 3rd and 1:00 a.m. on July 5th.
Due to the holiday, some City offices and services will be closed on July 3, 2009.

- Aquarium, Botanic Garden, Tingley Beach, and Zoo: Open 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Friday, July 3, and from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday, July 4. Learn more >>
- Balloon Museum: Open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Friday, July 3, and Saturday, July 4. Learn more >>
- Community Centers: Closed Friday, July 3. Learn more >>
- Senior Centers: All senior centers will be closed on Saturday, July 4 and Friday, July 3. . Learn more >>
- Solid Waste: Garbage will be collected Friday, July 3, as regularly scheduled. Solid Waste administrative offices are closed on Friday, July 3rd, but calls will be taken by 311. Convenience Centers will be open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday, July 4.
