Homeless Veterans

The National Center on Homelessness Among Veterans

“….to promote recovery oriented care for Veterans who are homeless or at-risk for homelessness.

Welcome to the new web site for the National  Center on Homelessness Among Veterans.  In the coming months we will be developing this site to serve as a significant resource on homeless Veterans and programs that assist them.  The primary goal of this site is to serve as national forum to exchange new ideas; provide education and consultation to improve the delivery of services; and disseminate the knowledge gained through the efforts of the Center’s Research and Model Development Cores to VA, other federal agencies, and community provider programs that assist homeless populations.

The links below provide additional information about the Center including our mission and goals, the Center’s Cores, preliminary studies, and university affiliations.  If you have questions about the Center or comments about this web site, please contact: Vince Kane, MSW (vincent.kane@va.gov.), Acting Director, or Roger Casey, LCSW, PhD (roger.casey@va.gov ), Deputy Director, National  Center on Homelessness Among Veterans.
