    Billy Wiseman, a school bus operator from Kanawha County, was among the top contenders at the National School Transportation Association's 39th Annual School Bus Driver International Safety Competition held recently in Greensboro, N.C.

Fourth grade students at Anna Jarvis Elementary School in Taylor County participated in the Daughters of the American Revolution Opportunities in America Poster and Photo Essay Contest. One student team placed first in the state poster division and Colton Young received first place in the national photo essay division.
