GFRS/FACTS I/IFCSTraining & EventsTo: Agency Chief Financial Officers and FMS is providing training for all users who are new or need to be refreshed in the functionality of GFRS. This role-based training provides hands-on instruction to users about the specific tasks they will perform in this application. The scheduling of each training class is based upon the interest received. Classes are limited and are on a first come first serve basis. Please follow the instructions for registrations carefully to expedite the process.
All classes are offered at: To register for one of these classes, users should submit the attached registration form to Ron Bollinger via fax on 202-874-3525 or by email Ronald.Bollinger. The last date of registration is August 7, 2009 12:00 noon. No Exceptions. Users will not require a personal userID for training purposes, but they do need a userID and GFRS assigned role to access the application upon returning to their offices. New users, and users that are changing GFRS roles, should contact Manijeh Poorahrab on 202-874-9918 or by email at Manijeh Poorahrab to obtain the appropriate system access request forms. Please allow a minimum of two weeks for processing of GFRS access requests. *Training for Reviewers Transportation and ParkingParking is no longer validated at our Hyattsville location. Pay parking is available at a private garage on Toledo Road behind our building, so it is strongly suggested that Metro be utilized for transportation. Our building is located near the Prince George’s Plaza Metro stop on the Green Line. We highly recommend that attendees arrive 15 to 30 minutes early to facilitate security/check-in. Government issued identification badges are required for check-in. We hope the training will provide all users with an overall functionality of GFRS as the reporting cycle begins.
