Oregon's Procedures for Implementing DRA Requirements

With the passing of the Federal Deficit Reduction Act of 2005 (DRA), Oregon's Division of Child Support, Employer Services Central Unit (ECSU) has implemented new procedures to focus its efforts on ensuring that each child support order is properly investigated for medical coverage from the custodial parent, non-custodial parent or both. The ECSU is also responsible for processing and assisting employers with questions or concerns regarding income withholding orders, the National Medical Support Notice (NMSN), new hire reporting, and other employer related issues.
