National Environmental Public Health Conference

Register today for the National Environmental Public Health Conference to be held October 26-29, 2009, in Atlanta, Georgia! The conference will focus on improving the nation's environmental health capacity by enhancing the expertise of public health professionals.
Sponsored by Centers for Disease Control and Prevention's National Center for Environmental Health and the Agency for Toxic Substances and Disease Registry, the National Environmental Public Health Conference will take place October 26–28 at the Sheraton Atlanta hotel, 165 Courtland Street, Atlanta, Georgia.
Registration fees for conference participants are:
- $200 for early registrations (before August 1, 2009)
- $250 for registrations after August 1, 2009
- $150 for one-day registrations
- $75 for student registrations

The goal of this year's conference, Healthy People in a Healthy Environment, is improving the nation's environmental health capacity by enhancing the expertise of public health, healthcare, and environmental professionals; academic researchers; and representatives from communities, organizations, and advocacy and business groups with a primary interest in environmental public health.
The 2009 conference also aims to develop and encourage innovative strategies for addressing existing and emerging issues and to provide a forum for NCEH, ATSDR, and its many partners to share research, scientific, and program information about environmental public health priorities.
