Program Associate, Asia and the Pacific
To assist in the administration of the Fulbright Scholar Program for the Asia and the Pacific region in accordance with policies and procedures of CIES, the J. William Fulbright Foreign Scholarship Board, and the United States Department of State; to carry out work responsibilities and assignments within the designated world region as part of a team that works collaboratively within the program unit and within CIES; to provide support to the designated program unit on the recruitment, review, affiliation and post-selection services for visiting scholars and U.S. scholars; to carry out other responsibilities associated with CIES programs and services as assigned by the responsible Assistant Director.

Administrative Coordinator, Outreach and Public Relations
To provide strong, dependable administrative assistance and support to the regional and global program units, the Outreach and Public Relations Unit and the Executive Administrative Coordinator; to serve as primary contact for a broad range of incoming telephone calls from CIES sponsors, universities, scholars, collaborators and clients overseas which require initiative, judgment and discretion in handling calls, referring calls or answering directly; to coordinate schedules; to ensure the smooth and effective functioning of the office; to coordinate a wide variety of administrative and clerical details; to make travel arrangements and file expense reports as needed; to keep meeting minutes and other relevant materials; to work effectively as a member of a team and assume work responsibilities and assignments in support of program units, the Outreach and Public Relations Unit and the Executive Administrative Coordinator as needed.

Communications Manager, International Fellowships Program
To assist IFF in gathering material and writing stories about IFP Fellows and alumni. Areas of work include: developing and posting content for the IFP website; producing and editing professional-level communications materials; and promoting IFP through media outreach.

Human Resources Coordinator
To provide administrative support to the Human Resources division in New York. Coordinate a variety of administrative details to ensure the smooth functioning of the division including answering routine questions on Institute’s HR policies, procedures and benefit plans, and maintaining all files and records related to the division.

Program Officer, International Fellowships Program
To help manage the placement and monitoring of Fellows-elect assigned to IIE by partners of the Ford Foundation International Fellowships Program (IFP) for study in North America under IIE’s J-1 visa sponsorship (over 120 new dossiers per year and approximately 250 active fellows). This position is also responsible for maintaining SEVIS records and statistics, as well as tracking fellow progress to insure compliance with Department of Homeland Security regulations.

Program Officer, University Placement Services
To manage graduate university placements in the fine and performing arts and pursue financial aid for IIE-administered candidates for a variety of sponsors including Department of State, USAID and various ministries of education.

Accounting Associate

Financial Information Systems Specialist, Controller's Division
Provides support of financial systems to effectively meet business objectives. Responsible for training employees (Institute-wide) as well as creating and maintaining training guides. Provides system support, design, testing of accounting based systems and special projects as required.

Administrative Assistant
To provide support in the areas of the front desk operations to include switchboard, reception, security, conference room reservations, administrative and record-keeping functions, as well as providing information about IIE and its programs to callers and visitors to 1400 K Street. This is a 37.5 hours per week position.

Program Associate, Humphrey
Provide support for all functions of the Humphrey Fellowship Program, including recruitment and selection of Fellows prior to their Fellowship year, grant administration during the Fellows’ program year in the United States, and alumni contact when they return home. Provide support for data entry and record keeping related to SEVIS and other immigration-related tasks. Perform tasks that include data entry, word processing, database report writing, information tracking and document filing. Perform other duties as assigned, including general administrative tasks.

The Assistant Director, Gilman International Scholarship Program works as part of a close team to administer the U.S. Department of State, Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs (ECA), Benjamin A. Gilman International Scholarship Program. The Gilman Program currently offers 1,800 scholarships each year to financially needy undergraduate students.
