Due to limited parking in the garage, if you live in the barracks or are a NSHS student, park by the barracks and walk to NMCP or NSHS.

The parking garage is designated for parking in the following manner:

GROUND, LEVEL ONE AND TWO : Are for patients and visitors parking unless otherwise designated by a sign. Aisles H-K on ground, one and two are open for staff parking.

LEVEL THREE : Open parking for all staff personnel.

LEVEL FOUR : Open parking for all staff personnel.

LEVEL FIVE : Open parking for all staff personnel.

HANDICAP PARKING : Open to all personnel whose vehicle displays a valid handicap placard or valid handicap plates.   Space marked for handicap vehicles with lifts only are for said vehicles.   Vehicles that do not have lifts are subject to be ticketed.  Further clarification on Handicap Parking is as follows:  If you drive a vehicle to work that has a handicap placard or plates and no handicap person is in the vehicle at the time you enter the compound to park or you carpool with a handicap person that works on the compound and you drop them off, this does not qualify you to park in handicap parking.   We do have staff members who abuse this privilege and when caught their vehicle will be ticketed.  Security has the authorization to confiscate or remove the placard or plates from the vehicle.  These items will be mailed to DMV and DMV will record the violation on your driving record.

MOTORCYCLE PARKING :  Motorcycle parking is designated on the back side of the parking garage, ground level in the vicinity of aisle D and aisle H.

EMERGENCY ROOM PARKING :  This is designated for Emergency room patients only.  All violators are subject to be ticketed.

ONCOLOGY PATIENT PARKING :  This is designated for Oncology patients only.  All violators are subject to be ticketed.

NMCP DEPENDENTS :   Any dependent of a Staff member that has an appointment is authorized to park in designated Patient/Visitor parking spaces.  The dependent needs to display a note on the dashboard in the lower left hand corner stating they have an appointment. They DO NOT need to put any other information on the paper.   If a note is NOT on the dash, the vehicle is subject to be ticketed for illegal parking in Patient/Visitor parking.

THIRD SHIFT PERSONNEL: Staff personnel that work third shift are permitted to park in Patient/Visitor parking areas between the hours of 2100 to 0730 Monday through Friday, to include all day weekends and holidays. All staff vehicles must be removed from Patient/Visitor Parking by 0730, Monday through Friday. Staff vehicles left in Patient/Visitor Parking after 0730, with no notification to Security, are subject to be ticketed or towed. Staff who come in for an early morning meeting or work are not authorized to park in Patient/Visitor Parking. Remember reserved spots are reserved 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
