ASC Soldier drops puck at Military Appreciation Night

401st AFSB logistics senior NCOIC receives Bronze Star Medal

Sgt. 1st Class Carla Bolden receives the Bronze Star Medal from Col. Mark Paget, commander, 401st Army Field Support Brigade, during an awards ceremony Jan. 9 at Bagram Airfield, Afghanistan. Bolden served as the S-4 (Logistics) senior noncommissioned officer-in- charge and was instrumental in increasing the brigade focus on property accountability. LOGCAP Soldiers receive awards for Afghanistan tour

(From left) Col. Gary Rangel, Lt. Col. William Martin, Maj. Edelmiro Escobedo, and Sgt. Maj. Joseph Carretero were awarded Bronze Star Medals, and Capt. Martin J. Louis was awarded an Army Commendation Medal by Col. Mark Paget, commander, 401st Army Field Support Brigade, Bagram Airfield, during an awards presentation at brigade headquarters Jan. 6. They also received the Afghanistan Campaign Medal and the Non-Article 5 NATO Medal. The Soldiers supported the Logistics Civil Augmentation Program. In theater, LOGCAP falls under 401st AFSB. 401st AFSB completes M1114 transfer to ANA

Lt. Col. Peter J. Koch, commander, Army Field Support Battalion-Bagram, 401st AFSB, and Afghan National Army Lt. Col. Ibrahim Wardak, liaison officer, verify paperwork before Wardak signs for the final 49 M1114 vehicles being issued under a Foreign Military Sales Case. The project took about 30 months to complete.
