Laboratory, Valles Caldera sponsor environmental science event

July 9 — How would you like to study environmental science in a million-year-old outdoor “classroom?” The Summer Environmental Science Program lets students explore a wide range of science-related topics in the Valles Caldera National Preserve, a vast collapsed volcanic crater ringed by pine-shrouded mountains.

Barth Named Associate Director for Business Services

July 8 — Mark Barth is Los Alamos National Laboratory’s new associate director for Business Services. He begins July 13 and succeeds Doris Heim, who has taken a new Bechtel assignment in Frederick, Maryland.
