When given a broad charge of increasing accessibility and ease of navigation for state department websites, the ICSD Public Information Access Section developed innovative solutions. By creating the "Stay Connected to Your State Government" feature, the team built an easy-to-use system for Hawai`i's residents and visitors to access government information.

Centennial Exhibit
To commemorate the 100th anniversary of the opening of the Archives on August 24, 1906, Hawai‘i State Archives has prepared an exhibit on the Kuhina Nui, a unique position in the administration of the Hawaiian government. The exhibit will be on display from August 31, 2006 to July 31, 2007.

Kakuhihewa Building Receives Environmental Protection Agency's Energy Star Award
The Department of Accounting and General Services (DAGS) was honored as the "owner" of the Kakuhihewa Building (also known as the Kapolei State Building), which received the Environmental Protection Agency's Energy Star Award for energy efficiency.
