Naval Safety Center magazines are available for free distribution to Navy, Marine Corps and Coast Guard units, as well as to Sailors and Marines stationed at joint commands and with other services. However, we can only send magazines to one address per command. If you don't think your command is already receiving the magazine you want, please verify this fact with your local admin department. Then send your official mailing address with your job title in the place of a personal name to SAFE-MediaFdbk@navy.mil. Make sure to tell us how many copies you'd like.

Here’s the latest Not-So-Funnies, stories you may not be familiar with but that are seared into the memories of the families and friends of the sailors and marines involved.

Last Fourth of July in California, a PFC was in his barracks, arguing with his girlfriend on the telephone. He got a ride to a friend's house where he was keeping his motorcycle. He had recently checked in at his command and was scheduled to take the motorcycle safety course later that month. When he got to his friend's house, he hopped on his motorcycle and sped off toward his girlfriend's house. It was two and a half hours before midnight. He was feeling slightly tired and extremely angry...
