OVW has been informed the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) Database was down on Wednesday, March 24, 2009. Registering with the CCR database is required for all OVW program applications, including the OVW Recovery Act Transitional Housing Program application.

As of March 27, 2009, the CCR.gov website is now back up and running. Due to technical difficulties, the GMS registration deadline for the OVW Recovery Act Transitional Housing Program is extended to April 8, 2009. For applicants who experienced problems registering with CCR on March 24, OVW requests that applicants re-attempt to complete the CCR registration process as soon as possible but no later than April 8, 2009.

Applicants must submit their applications by April 8, 2009 in order to considered under this program. Applicants are also required to mail a hard copy of the application via overnight mail postmarked no later than April 8, 2009 to the following address:

Due to the high level of interest, all Recovery Act Transitional Housing Program Pre-Application Conference Calls are now full. OVW will not be able to accommodate additional registration requests. In order to meet the continued interest in these conference calls and make the same information available to all potential applicants, the OVW Recovery Act Transitional Housing Program Pre-Application Conference Call script is now available for review.

It is not a requirement to participate on a pre-application conference call in order to apply for funding under the Recovery Act Transitional Housing Program. Information provided during the conference calls can be found in the Recovery Act Transitional Housing Program Solicitation.
