Workforce Information Cubes for NASA
Current Workforce Profile and Deployment Information

Current - Historical - Dynamics - Total Workforce

NASA keeps close track of its civil service personnel and provides updated information to Agency management every two weeks through a set of multi-dimensional cubes. These cubes contain information extracted from various operational systems, especially the personnel/payroll system and labor distribution system. The cubes contain multiple dimensions, any of which can be dragged and dropped to replace the row or column currently shown. Clicking on a row or column label will drill down to a lower level of detail. The last dimension folder contains measures other than head count or FTE; for example, average age.

Selected views of the current workforce profile. The views are pre-formatted to look at particular aspects of the NASA workforce as of the end of the most recent pay period.

Besides the Current Profile and Deployment Information available on this page, data cubes also include:

Exploring the NASA Workforce - Access to the full set of public cubes
About NASA Workforce Data - Origin and basic concepts.
Using PowerPlay - Capabilities and user interface.
Glossary - Terminology peculiar to NASA and/or FederalHuman Resources.
