Initial Review GroupThe National Human Genome Research Institute (NHGRI) Initial Review Group (IRG), administered by the NHGRI Scientific Review Branch, provides first-level peer review of grant applications. The review committee is called the Genome Research Review Committee - known officially as GNOM-G - and meets three times a year. NHGRI provides a second level of review by the National Advisory Council for Human Genome Research.
