Objectives
Program Purpose
The objectives of the Water Supply program are to work in partnership with non-federal water management plans and consistent with law and policy, manage Corps reservoirs to provide water supply storage in a cost-efficient and environmentally responsible manner.
Public Benefits
The assistance will: permit three water supply studies, resulting in additional water for use by citizens and industries; and perform one study required to maintain performance of the dam and water supply contacts with non-federal sponsors.

Kinds and Scope of Program Activities
1) Fully fund one contract to complete a reallocation study and EIS, another contract to accomplish independent peer review and to provide funding for a panel review of these documents.
2) Fully fund a water supply and flood damage analysis study to help provide much needed water supply for local interests.
3) Initiate a reallocation study for additional water supply for local interests.
4) Fully fund a sediment study that is 10-years overdue and is required to maintain performance of the dam and water supply contracts with local sponsors.
