It is important you first contact the state where your order was entered for assistance. If the other state will not assist you, this agency will assist you in filing with the IV-D agency in that state. This is not to say that this Agency will legally represent you. This application requires a $20.00 Fee.

IF YOU HAVE A PRIVATE CASE . . .
Payments are being paid through the RI Family Court and you have not applied for service you are not
assigned a child support worker and you must contact your private attorney or the
RI Family Court (458-5050).

Cases are assigned alphabetically by the non- custodial parent’s last name. Please review the questions and links on our
contact page. Enforcement of your order is done automatically by our computer system therefore you have no need to call to have your order enforced.
