Brad FoulkHarrisburg - Attorney General Tom Corbett issued the following statement on the death of Erie County District Attorney Brad Foulk:

"The citizens of Erie County and of Pennsylvania have lost a great public servant and prosecutor in the death of my good friend Brad Foulk.  The law enforcement community has lost a steadfast supporter and advocate and I have lost a close personal friend.

"Brad had a first-rate legal mind and was committed to protecting the people of Erie County and the state.   He vigorously pursued justice with a passion and cared deeply about the victims of crime.

"Anyone who met Brad was impressed with his kindness and charm.

"Brad and I tried cases against each other in Erie in the early 1980's and became fast friends.  I have had the pleasure of being Brad's close friend for nearly 30-years.  When I served as Attorney General in the in the mid 1990's Brad came to work with me as a senior prosecutor handling complex drug and murder investigations.

"I will miss his friendship, loyalty and good humor.

"On behalf of my wife Sue, my family, and the men and women of the Pennsylvania Attorney General's Office, our deepest sympathies and prayers go out to Brad's wife, Caroline, their family and the men and women of the Erie County District Attorney's Office."
