Group
(Boulder)
- Performs research and provides critically-evaluated data
and models on a variety of fluid-based separation processes, including
distillation, adsorption, and supercritical fluid extraction.
For additional information, see the Properties for
Process Separations Project Home Page.

- Collects and evaluates thermophysical data (more
than 100 properties) of organic compounds.
- Develops large thermophysical property databases and
database-management systems.
- Develops a concept and process of "dynamic
compilation" of thermophysical property data to provide automatic
critical data evaluation.
- Develops software tools for global data collection,
storage, exchange, and dissemination via the TRC Data Entry
Facility.
- Develops software protocols for the TRC Data Quality
Assurance program.
For additional information, see the TRC Home Page.

- performs experimental research and develops and maintains
high-accuracy apparatus for measuring the full complement of thermodynamic
and transport properties of fluids and fluid mixtures over wide ranges
of temperature, pressure, and composition
- provides comprehensive thermophysical property measurements
for technically important pure fluids and mixtures, including common organics
and inorganics, hydrocarbons, refrigerants, and aqueous systems.
For additional information, see the Experimental Properties of Fluids Group Home Page.
