The Ninth Circuit Judicial Conference is an annual gathering of federal judges from all of the federal courts within the circuit, along with members of the federal bar, judiciary staff and other government officials.
The conference is held pursuant to Section 333 of Title 28 of the United States Code "for the purpose of considering the business of the courts and advising means of improving the administration of justice." In addition to attending various business meetings, attendees participate in educational programs focusing on important developments in law, economics, the environment, science and other fields.
