THE ACQUISITION AND LOGISTICAL SERVICES (ALS) ORGANIZATION

The Acquisition and Logistical Services (ALS) organization provides all purchasing, subcontracting, receiving, warehousing, distribution, property accountability, vehicle management, and transportation services for the NCI-Frederick operations and specific subcontracting support for the NCI, Bethesda, the National Institute for Allergies and Infectious Diseases, and other Institutes.

SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENTS/NOTICES

The last day of contract year 2009 is Friday, September 25. All PRs, blanket orders and p-card orders must use CY10 center number beginning Saturday, September 26, 2009.

There are no additional deadlines for contract year 2009 other than for capital equipment, which was July 20. Please submit purchase requests for your annual requirements with sufficient lead time for processing.
