Summary: This Financial Report contains the Board’s financial statements, as required by the Chief Financial Officers Act (CFO Act) and the Accountability of Tax Dollars Act of 2002; a selection of performance information, as required by the CFO Act; and a report on the Board’s material weaknesses, as required by the Federal Managers’ Financial Integrity Act (Integrity Act).

Although not required until FY 2003, the submission of these FY 2002 financial statements marks the first time in its history that the NTSB has issued financial statements.
