An Independent Public Accounting firm engaged by the Department of Transportation, Office of Inspector General, has audited the Board's FY 2005 consolidated financial statements and issued an unqualified (clean) opinion indicating that these financial statements present fairly the financial position of the National Transportation Safety Board.
