DC Press Internships

As the Senator represents the state of Vermont, preference is given to Vermonters.  However, all people interested in progressive public policy are encouraged to apply.  

Terms:  September – December (part-time and full-time positions available)
January – May (part-time and full-time positions available)
June – August (part-time and full-time positions available)

Job Description:  Photography and/or journalism experience is desired, but not required.

Technology Related
Keeps supplies of tech equipment stocked
Keeps tech equipment running
Works with House recording studio and press secretary to get out satellite beams
Identify and download news clips of SenatorPublic Relations Related:

Help with Publication Design
Assist with research and drafting of press documents
Assist in drafting website content
Photograph constituents with Senator Sanders
Order photos
Send photos to constituents and newspapers
Compress photos for posting on Web
Write Captions
