For the past fifteen years, Government Accountability Office’s high-risk list has examined inefficient and ineffective federal programs that are vulnerable to waste, fraud, abuse, and mismanagement. The purpose of this hearing is to ensure Congressional oversight by bringing attention to government-wide management challenges and high-risk program areas.
