Notice: Provisional Data About the Flood Tracking System : The Pearl River Flood Tracking web page consists of a map of the Pearl River Basin with the location of all real-time streamflow-gaging stations and a pull-down menu which lists the stations by name. A real-time graph can be displayed by selecting a site from either the map or the pull-down station menu. Each gaging station has a graphic that during normal conditions, will show the river stage for the last three days and, if available, the National Weather Service daily forcast for the next three days. During flooding conditions the graphic will also include an indicator of flood stage, a bar graph of previous floods, and, when available, the National Weather Service flood-crest forecast. The graphic for each site also serves as a link to other information available for that site. |
