Brooksville Police Department receives Award of Accreditation |
|

The Commission for Florida Law Enforcement Accreditation, Inc. convened on June 30, 2011 in Bonita Springs, Florida to officially accredit agencies that have passed its established, rigorous review process. They awarded new Accreditation status to only three (3) law enforcement agencies in the State of Florida. Brooksville Police Department was one of the three.
Accreditation awarded through the Commission for Florida Law Enforcement Accreditation, Inc. has long been recognized as a means of maintaining the highest standards of professionalism. Accreditation is only awarded after an independent reviewing authority has certified that a law enforcement entity has met specific requirements and prescribed standards.
Congratulations to Chief George Turner and the men & women of the Brooksville Police Department for receiving this award and prestigious designation! The Department's dedication and commitment to high standards and professionalism has been clearly recognized and honored.
