On Saturday Sept 29th, Keynote speaker Eric Holdeman will discuss general emergency preparedness and social media in the talk entitled, "Surviving the Zombie Apocalypse and Other REAL Hazards".

Due to a policy direction established by Governor Kitzhaber, as well as legislation passed in 2011 and 2012, local healthcare and community leaders are working to form a 501(c)3 non-profit organization called Yamhill County Care Organization (YCCO). The goal is to provide better care and improve the overall health outcomes for individuals and families on the Oregon Health Plan (OHP) while also decreasing costs to the public.

Local community healthcare leaders have convened multiple meetings to discuss improvements to our system of care across physical, oral and behavioral health services.
