7.1 Authorization. The Secretary of the Interior is an ex officio member of the National Capital Planning Commission (District of Columbia Self-Government and Governmental Reorganization Act, Public Law 93-198, approved December 24, 1973, 87 Stat. 774).
7.2 Delegation. The Director is authorized to serve as the Secretary
=s first alternate on the National Capital Planning Commission.7.3 Redelegation. This authority may be redelegated to the Regional Director, National Capital Region, National Park Service, and, in turn, to the Associate Regional Director, Land Use Coordination, National Capital Region, National Park Service, and may not be further redelegated.
