Conferences:

The Free Press National Conference for Media Reform was held from May 13-15, St. Louis, Missouri, USA. See their website  for information and audio downloads of presentations.

Free Press  is a nonpartisan organization working to involve the public in media policymaking and to craft policies for more democratic media.

Seminar Series:

"Cultural Heritage: Theory in Policy and Practice"

The Center for Folklife and Cultural Heritage welcomes your participation in our seminar series "Cultural Heritage: Theory in Policy and Practice," a timely and important effort to broaden and to raise the level of dialogue and reflection on cultural heritage.

Meetings:

The International Network for Cultural Diversity (INCD)  will meet in Senegal from November 17-20, 2005. The steering committee will meet on the 17th, the conference will be from 18-20th, and on the 21st, a presentation will be made to the International Network on Cultural Policy, INCP.

The INCP will hold a conference from November 20th-22nd, 2005.
