Description: Opened to the public on September 17, 1973, Cerritos Library reflects its agricultural history aptly, having been built on the site of a former strawberry farm. After an extensive expansion project, the Library re-opened in 2002 with immersive environments and state of the art research capabilities, library resources and a collection of fine art and artifacts relating to the First Ladies. The Library's themed learning centers and museum quality exhibitions focus on experience-based learning utilizing books and other information.
Profile: The Library is interested in collaborating with the Smithsonian on exhibits that celebrate the City of Cerritos' ethnic diversity and the First Ladies of the United States.
