Our Community Resources Division (CRD) provides state and federal grant funds to private, public and non-governmental agencies to develop, direct and administer programs focused on improving the housing, living standards and self-sufficiency of low-income Oregonians. Below are programs that OHCS works in partnership with local Community Action Agency Centers and Food Banks to help low-income Oregonians.

Oregon Volunteers supports community-based agencies in promoting support for AmeriCorps and other volunteer opportunities to strengthen Oregon communities. The commission is a non-partisan, diverse group of citizens composed of up to 25 voting members who are appointed to a three year term by the Governor and confirmed by the Oregon Senate.
