The State Budget Trends Study Commission is established for the purpose of completing a study of the implications of state demographic trends for future state budget conditions, including both expected revenue collections and spending for state government services and local services supported by state revenues. The commission shall consist of 15 public members, including five members appointed by the governor; five members appointed by the senate Subcommittee on Committees of the Committee on Rules and Administration; four members appointed by the speaker of the house of representatives; and one member appointed by the minority leader of the house of representatives.
