Important Updates Coming In 2013
The Unified Facilities Guide Specifications (UFGS) Master uses the latest CSI MasterFormat versions, therefore as of January 2012, the Unified Facilities Guide Specifications Working Group decided to discontinue support of MasterFormat™ 1995. SpecsIntact v4.5.1 will no longer support the creation of Jobs or Masters using the old MasterFormat™ 1995 UFGS Master. For backward compatibility, Masters or Jobs created with older versions can still be opened using the latest software versions.
The UFGS Master with Automatic Paragraph Numbering was originally scheduled to be released in February 2012. Due to the delay of software certifications for Army, Navy and NASA, this release was delayed until each Agency has certified and distributed SpecsIntact v4.5.0 or newer. All agencies have now been certified, but has not yet been dissiminated, once the software has been dissiminated, the UFGS Master with Automatic Paragraph Numbering will be made available.
