Additional Certifications and Assurances

The Lead Agency is required to provide the following assurances or certifications as part of its plan 45 CFR 98.13(b)(2)-(6), i.e., lobbying, drug-free workplace, debarment, nondiscrimination and smoking prohibitions. If the certifications were obtained in the 1997 Plan, they do not need to be collected again. Check with your regional office to verify. If the Lead Agency has changed, these certifications apply to the successor agency.
