| Description: |
Attorneys conduct criminal and civil lawsuits, draw up legal documents, advise clients as to legal rights, and practice other areas of law. They gather evidence in divorce, civil, criminal, and other cases to formulate defense or to initiate legal action. Attorneys represent clients in court, and before quasi-judicial or administrative agencies of government. They may act as trustee, guardian, or executor. They may teach college courses in law and specialize in a particular area of law.

1. Be of good moral character;
2. Be 18 years of age or will attain that age prior to admission;
3. Be, or prior to taking the examination will be, a graduate of a law school approved by the American Bar Association Council on Legal Education and Admissions to the Bar; and
4. Pass Bar exam.
5. Pass Multistate Professional Responsibility Exam.
6. Be recommended on character and fitness basis for admission. |
