| Description: |
"Appraiser Assistant" is a person who is not licensed or certified as an appraiser, but is registered as an appraiser assistant and who assists with real estate appraisal activity under the direct supervision of a certified or licensed appraiser. |

| Continuing Ed Requirements: |
An appraiser assistant who remains in this classification in excess of two years shall be required, in the third and successive years, to obtain the equivalent of fourteen classroom hours of instruction for continuing education in courses or seminars for each year preceding the renewal.
