Description: The director of racing shall have general supervision of the racing secretary, paddock judge kennel master and clerk of scales hired by the race meet licensee, and shall make peiodic reports to the board of judges about the conduct of such officials.
The director of racing shall speak for the race meet licensee in the day to day operation of the racing department as chairperson of that department and shall be responsible for compliance with the rules of greyhound racing by the licensees within that department.

Fees - application, exam, etc.:  For a commercial track:
All ORC licenses cost $30 for the initial 3-year license, and then $2 per year for each additional license category. All "add on" licenses will expire at the same time as the initial license. Renewals are processed exacly like the initial application.
For a summer fair track:
The director of racing license costs $100 and covers all the licenses for employees of the meet paid directly by the director of racing (i.e. track superintendent, security, gate crew, etc. Not covered are the Tote company and the video and TV companies.)

Duplicate: Lost licenses are replaced at a cost of $5 per year left until expiration of the original license. Duplicate license will expire on the same date as the original license.
