Air Contaminant Discharge Permits (ACDPs), issued by the Department of Environmental Quality, apply to certain nonmajor businesses that emit or have the potential to emit less than 100 tons per year of criteria pollutants: carbon monoxide (CO), nitrious oxide (NOx), sulfur dioxide (SO2), particulate matter (PM10) and lead (Pb); or less than 10 tons per year of an individual Hazardous Air Pollutant (HAP), or less than 25 tons per year of more than one Hazardous Air Pollutant (HAP).
