As of July 1, 2005 Building Codes Division no longer issues this certification. Individuals who hold this certification may continue to review plans of residential dwellings for compliance with provisions of the Oregon Residential Specialty Code, excluding apartments, and must comply with the continuing education requirements (see below) for Oregon Code Certifications (OCC).

| Continuing Ed Requirements: |
A person holding an Oregon Code Certification, other than electrical or plumbing, is required to obtain at least 16 hours of continuing education every three years from the date of issuance, and every three years thereafter. At least eight of these hours must be code change. OAR 918-098-1450 |
