Fees - application, exam, etc.:  Application: $200. License: $275, 2-year license.

Examination Information: Exam is national(Educational Testing Services: Praxis Exam). Students should contact the Counseling and Testing Center at their college or university.
Exam Pass: Score of 600.
Exam Repeat: Contact ETS
Continuing Ed Requirements: 30 hrs approved CE / 2 years.

Insurance Requirements: None
Prerequisites: 1. Have a Master's Degree or equivalent in Speech Pathology.
2. Complete nine months of full-time professional employment after receiving master's degree.
3. Pass National Teacher's Examination in Speech Pathology (Praxis Exam); or have a Certificate of Clinical Competence from American Speech-Language-Hearing Association.
4. Submit evidence of either:
a. 30 hours of approved professional development taken no earlier than 24 months prior to application.
b. at least 10 hours of approved professional development taken no earlier than 24 months prior to application with promise to take the remainder from 30 within 1 year of initial licensure.

an official transcript of a masters degree or its equivalent
and proof of 275 clinical clock hours (if the degree was not earned from a ASHA Approved ESB).
