| Description: |
Off-Interstate Logo Boards are those Logo boards situated on highways other than Interstates. Off-interstate Logo signs are seen as alternatives to billboard advertising by many businesses and environmental groups. They are actually Traffic Control Devices and must meet all regulations set by the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) and state sign standards. Many confuse these signs with advertising, but they are regulated in the same manner as any other directional or regulatory sign covered under Federal policy. |

1. Copy of Registered Business Name.
2. Local business license for your locale, or licensing from authorizing agency.
3. If requesting Food, Lodging or Bed & Breakfast logo signs, a copy of health permit.
4. Map or sketch of the business in relation to the nearest highways, streets, intersetions, etc. and the desired sign location(s). Official or country maps are preferred.
5. Photographs (Polaroid ok):
* Of the business from about 300 feet in each direction,
* on-premise signing,
* Food facilities, please include photos of inside restaurant seating. |
