Description: Required for any person to construct and operate a hatchery for chinook, chum, coho, or pink salmon.
Statutes, Rules, Ordinances: ORS 508.700 - .745
OAR 635-040-0000 thru -0210
Duration: Annual (expires December 31 every year)
Fees - application, exam, etc.:  Application Fee $100 for each salmon species reared.

Insurance Requirements: None
Prerequisites: Rules for operation of a private salmon hatchery are extensive. Contact ODFW, Salem for details. Numerous other licenses, permits and reporting requirements are needed in addition to this license.
