Description: The Sea Urchin Limited Entry Permit is required in addition to a commercial fishing license for sea urchin harvest. Prior year permit renewable if diver harvested 5,000 pounds of sea urchins in the prior year. No new permits are available.

Permit is transferable to an individual who has purchased three valid permits from existing permit holders and submits proof of such transactions. The Department will combine the three purchased permits into a single permit issued to the purchaser. The above permit reduction plan ends when total number of permits reaches 30.
