Description: A Commercial Feed License needs to be obtained by anyone selling animal feeds or ingredients at wholesale. All feeds (see exemptions) need to be registered annually with the Oregon Department of Agriculture. For a definition of commercial feed, please see ORS 633.006(4)

Duration: 1 year (January 1-December 31)
Fees - application, exam, etc.:  Firm license fee: $10 to $500 depending on volume
Product registration: $20 each
Renewal fee: same as above

Fee Exemptions: Dog and cat foods are exempted from registration.

Additional Information: Retail feed stores, if not wholesaling, do not need a Commercial Feed License. Dog and cat foods are exempt from registration.
