In 2003 Ambulance Service / Ambulance Licensing and the Professional Standards Unit have been restructured and combined to create the Prehospital Standards Unit. The function of each program remains the same.

Our mission...

 

To ensure that the citizens of and visitors to Oregon have access to efficient and effective ambulance services, the Prehospital Standards Unit has the responsibility for developing, implementing and enforcing the standards pertaining to the actions of certified personnel, agencies and operation of ambulance services in the State of Oregon.

Ms. Morgan is primarily responsible for the investigations of EMS complaints and conducts training sessions within the state regarding EMS standards. (971-673-0530)

Mr. Hardwick is primarily responsible for ambulance service licensing, inspections, and investigations involving ambulance service agencies/vehicles. In addition he assists with EMT related investigations.  (971-673-0576) justin.hardwick@state.or.us 



Joanna Faunce, NREMT-P, EMS PreHospital Standards Representative
