| Description: |
Physician Assistants (PA) provide patient services under the supervision and responsibility of a doctor of medicine or osteopathy. Duties often include: obtaining patient histories, performing physical examinations, ordering laboratory and diagnostic tests, assisting in surgery, and prescribing medications. The scope of practice for licensed physician assistants is documented in an Oregon Medical Board approved Practice Description Form. |
