Most apprenticeship programs do not charge an application fee although a few charge a modest fee of up to $25. Apprentices are expected to pay tuition and for books, normally about $400 to $500 per year, although in many cases, these costs are paid by the employer or reimbursed to the apprentice by the apprenticeship committee.
