Sponsors of regattas, boat races, marine parades, tournaments or exhibitions that may cause a water safety hazard must complete a Marine Board applicaton for a permit at least 30 days prior to the event. You may also request a Coast Guard Safety Patrol on site at least 30 days in advance. Please view the Marine Event Sponsors Letter further describing specific event requirements. |

The application for a permit to hold a marine event, regatta or parade must be completed and filed at least 30 days prior to the event.
You also have the option of requesting Coast Guard Auxiliary Safety Patrol to be on site during the event. Please complete and return the Request for Coast Guard Auxiliary Safety Patrol form (found at the end of the application) at least 30 days in advance.
